Accessories
Honeywell Meter Point Connect devices provide RS485 signal
interface for bus connection(s), and require use of level
converter device(s) for conversion of RS485 levels to M-Bus
voltage levels for connection to meters. Following level
converters have been tested for use with MPC devices:

In order to connect more meters to an M-Bus port than
supported by a single converter device, additional M-Bus
converter(s) can be connected to the RS485 M-Bus on M1 or
M2 devices in parallel with the existing converter. Only the
converters that directly convert between RS-485 and M-Bus
(and do not use an intermediate RS232 type connection) can
be connected in this manner. The end-of-line (EOL)
terminations and biasing for each device connected to the
RS485 M-Bus (CH1 or CH2) as well as the port switch
settings for MPC should be set in accordance with location of
each device on the bus.
