OPERATING THE UNIT
- When using for the first time, clean inside the drum (c) with a damp cloth, without using any detergent.
- Move the lever (d) to position OFF lid open (i) and open the lid (b).
- Put the clothes inside the drum following some points below:
o
Distribute the weight evenly.
o
Avoid to gather the clothes only in one side or to create empty spaces inside drum.
o
Do not fill too much in the drum (c): never exceed the weight of 5,2 kg damp or wet linen and never
exceed the level of the upper holes inside the drum
o
Slightly push the clothes downwards with the hands, in order to gently compact them.
o
Put the protection disk (f) over the clothes.
- Close the cover (b) and move the lever (d) in position LOCK lid closed (h).
- Put a suitable bowl (not included) under the draining hole (e).
- Insert the plug into a suitable wall outlet and move the lever (d) to "ON" position
- The centrifugal dryer will begin to operate. An initial loss of balance or oscillation is normal. The dryer will
tend to stabilize after operating for some seconds.
- If the clothes distribution is not correct, the spin dryer will be unbalanced and will not be able to reach the
maximum speed. User can see the problem because the inner drum, rotating out of its axis, will cause strong
vibration. If this happens, take out the clothes and place with more attention.
- When no more water comes out from the draining opening (e), the clothes will be dry, anyway never
operate the appliance for more than 5 minutes. If necessary, repeat the cycle with an interval of at least 15
minutes after the previous cycle.
- The indicative times for a drying cycle are 3 minutes for wool and synthetics, 5 minutes for cotton.
- Switch the dryer off by placing the lever (d) at LOCK lid closed (h) and wait until the drum is completely
still.
CAUTION: NEVER pass directly from ON to OFF positions: the spin dryer is equipped with a brake
system that stops the drum in a very short time.
- Move the lever (d) in OFF lid open (i) position; the lid will lift up.
- Open the cover (b), take off the protection disk (f) and then take the clothes out.
- After each use, slightly incline the dryer forward, in order to let the remaining water flow into the bowl.
NOTES.
THE CLOTHES WILL NOT RESULT TO BE TOTALLY DRY, THIS IS NORMAL.
LAY THEM FOR A SHORT PERIOD OF TIME OVER A DRYING RACK, BEFORE TREATING THEM
WITH AN IRON.
IN ORDER TO OBTAIN A GOOD RESULT, IT IS INDISPENSABLE TO PLACE THE CLOTHES
PROPERLY BY INSERTING THEM FOLDED, AND TO PUSH THEM GENTLY.
ALWAYS PLACE THE PROTECTION DISK.
CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE
- Unplug the unit from the electrical outlet before performing any cleaning operation.
Keep the dryer clean, by using a dampened cotton cloth, do not use detergents.
