Common Settings
Limiting the volume
You can set [AVLS (Volume Limit)] (Automatic Volume Limiter System) to
limit the maximum volume to prevent auditory issues or distraction. With
[AVLS (Volume Limit)], you can listen to music at a comfortable volume level.
From the [Home] menu, select
[AVLS (Volume Limit)]
Type
[On]
[Off]
Note
 The [AVLS (Volume Limit)] setting is not applied to the sound output from the built-in
speakers.
Turning off the beep sound
You can turn on or off the operation sounds of the player.
From the [Home] menu, select
[Beep Settings]
Type
[On]
[Off]
[AVLS (Volume Limit)]
desired setting type.
Description
Maintains a moderate volume level.
Plays back audio at the original volume. (Default setting)
[Beep Settings]
desired setting type.
Description
Produces beep sounds. (Default setting)
Does not produce beep sounds.
