Problem
Possible Cause
Printed Surface is
Media is curled
Scratched/Back of
Paper is Smudged
Inside of the printer is
dirty.
Inappropriate paper
type used
Paper Feed Roller is
dirty
If media is curled, its print side may be smudged by touching the Print Head.
Uncurl the media.

Periodically clean the inside of the printer with cotton swabs or the like.
