Before mounting the telephone, consider the following: Select a location away from electrical cables, pipes, or other items behind the mounting location that could cause a hazard when inserting screws into the wall.

Plug one end of the short telephone cord into the LINE jack on the base unit. Then plug one end of an Electra Professional or Electra Elite Multiline Terminal into the PHONE jack.

Use a pencil eraser or other contact cleaner. Do not use liquids or solvents.
