DIALING NUMBERS FROM YOUR PHONE BOOK

You can make a call using any phone book memory location either by speed dialing, one-touch
dialing, or by pressing

Speed dialing

You can quickly dial numbers that are saved in your phone's phone book with just a couple of key
presses.
1.
Press the key(s) that correspond to the numeric memory location. For example, for
memory location 10, press

. The phone will find the telephone number in its phone book, display it on
the screen, and then dial it.

One/two-touch dialing

One/two-touch dialing enables you to dial phone book entries through one key press (for
locations 1 to 9) or two key presses (for locations 10 to 99).
You can activate one-touch dialing through the "Touch Dial" item via "Extras" under the long
"Features" menu (page 20).
FOR MEMORY LOCATIONS 1 TO 9:
• Press and hold the appropriate key for 1.5 seconds. The display will confirm that the
number has been dialed when it shows "CALLING..."
FOR LOCATIONS 10 TO 99:
1.
Press the first digit.
2.
Press and hold the second digit for 1.5 seconds.

Dialing from a memory list

1.
Turn the dial-shuttle to the "SAVED #S" screen.
2.
Turn it another click to enter the phone book.
3.
Scroll and select the phone book memory you want.
4.
Press
or press the dial-shuttle twice.

While viewing any memory location, press
