CAUTION Do not mix extremely hard food items, such as ice cubes, nutmeg as this may cause damage to the hand mixer. If the mains supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, it’s service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.

    If the power supply cord is too short, do not use an extension cord. Have a qualified electrician or serviceman install an outlet near the appliance. NOTE: Neither Westinghouse nor the retailer can accept any liability for damage to the product or personal injury resulting due to failure to observe the electrical connection procedures.

    HAND MIXER OPERATION Before first use, the hand mixer accessories must be cleaned. Wash with warm water and mild detergent. Rinse with fresh water and allow to dry. Your hand mixer is now ready for use. Ensure unit is unplugged from wall power outlet. Insert the beaters or dough hooks into the underside or the hand mixer and push inwards lightly until they click and engage.

    CLEANING & CARE After use, unplug from the wall power outlet then use the eject button to release accessories for cleaning. The dough hooks and beater accessories are dishwasher safe and may be placed into the dishwasher or hand cleaned. Do not use harsh or abrasive cleaning agents.

    TROUBLESHOOTING BEFORE CALLING FOR SERVICE If the hand mixer fails to operate; Check to make sure the hand mixer is plugged in correctly and securely. If it is not, remove the plug from the outlet, wait 10 seconds and plug it back in securely Check for a blown or tripped circuit breaker in your home.
