Deleting Messages

Deleting a message thread
From a Home screen, tap
1.
(Messaging).
Touch and hold a message from the Messages list, then

select Delete thread.
At the prompt, tap Delete to delete or Cancel to exit.

Deleting a single message
From a Home screen, tap

(Messaging).
Open a message to reveal the message string.

Touch and hold a message bubble, then select Delete.

At the prompt, tap Delete to delete or Cancel to exit.

Deleting multiple messages
From a Home screen, tap

(Messaging).
Tap
Delete threads.

Tap each message thread you want to delete. A checkmark

displays beside each selected message.

Message Search

You can search through your messages by using the Message
Search feature.
From a Home screen, tap

Use the on-screen keypad/keyboard to enter a word or

phrase in which to search, then tap
All messages that contain the entered search string
