Selecting display modes

Your VAIO computer uses either the Intel 915GM video controller or the NVIDIA GeForce Go 6200 video controller, depending on
your model. You can select which display to be used as the primary monitor when an external display (desktop monitor, etc.) is
connected to the computer. If you want to work on your computer's LCD and the external display at the same time, see Using the
Multiple Monitors function

Models with the Intel 915GM video controller
To select a display, proceed as follows:

Click the Start, then Control Panel.
The Control Panel appears.

Click Appearance and Themes, and then select Display.
The Display Properties dialog box appears.

Click the Settings tab.

Click the Advanced button.
The properties dialog box appears for advanced settings.

Click the tab with its name beginning with Intel(R).

Click Graphic Properties.

On the Devices tab, click to select a display.

Click OK.
You may not be able to display on the computer LCD screen and an external display or a projector at the same time, depending on the types of computer displays
and projectors you are using.
Before turning on the computer, turn on the peripheral devices.
