Using BlueSpace
Changing the Bluetooth™ function settings
At any time, you can change the device name of the local device, set how the Device Discovery is performed,
and how to respond when a remote device is discovered or a connection request received from another
Bluetooth device.
To change the Bluetooth function settings, proceed as follows:
Click the Setup button in the Local Device Information Area.
In the Bluetooth Setup dialog box that appears, there are 5 tabs.
Property
Here you can verify the information about the local device (address,
class, code and role) and change the name displayed in the Local
Device Information Area (see Launching BlueSpace
Device Discovery
Here you can set the Discovery time and the maximum number of
devices to be found with Device Discovery. You can also specify if
you want to discover all devices or only specific devices. And finally
you can set if you want to search automatically for remote
Bluetooth™ devices or if you want to set a time interval.
Here you can register additional COM ports to use for connection and

change the settings related to file transmission and chat sessions.
Here you can specify how to respond to Device Discovery requests.

Here you can set encryption and master/slave role switch options.
