Thermostatically controlled faucets are suitable for use in combination with pressure boilers. If sufficient capacity is
available (18 kW and up) then electrical or (from 250 kcal/min) gas water heaters can also be used. Thermostats cannot
be used in combination with low-pressure boilers.
Assembly instructions for Boston thermostatically controlled shower or bath mixing faucet
Installation:

Before you start: Flush the pipes out thoroughly to ensure that no dirt can rinse from the pipes into the faucet.
1. Turn off the water supply. Check if the distance between the centre points of the connections in the wall is
within the tolerance levels specified on the drawing and check the article number on the package to make
sure you purchased the correct faucet.
2. Determine the length of the screw thread by screwing it into the wall panel (without sealant tape). The
connection point should protrude at least 35 mm and no more than 39 mm from the wall. Saw off a piece
of the screw thread if necessary. Mount the S-brackets according to the sketch. Note! Hot water left, cold
water right. (Sealant tape is not provided.)
Adjust the S-brackets to 140 mm (centre point to centre point); make sure that the brackets are perfectly
level. Grease the O-rings of the S-brackets with faucet lubricant.
3. Slide the faucet onto the S-brackets without rosettes and attach it to the connection using the two screws
that come with it (Fig 3B). Note: do not insert these screws into the faucet housing
beforehand, since they could damage the O-rings when sliding the faucet on. Turn the
water supply back on and check the connections of the S-brackets for leaks (Fig. 3C).
4. Turn off the water supply and remove the faucet by removing the screws (Fig. 4A).
5. Tip: We recommend that you fill the openings in the tiles around the S-brackets with silicon sealant so no
moisture can penetrate in the wall behind the tiles.
First place the rosettes, then slide the faucet on over the S-brackets and attach it to the connections by
screwing in both screws (Fig. 5B).
Turn on the water supply and check again for leaks (Fig. 5C).
Setting the temperature:
The thermostat has been calibrated in the factory. Because conditions may vary depending on the hot water supply,
the temperature of the water flowing out of the faucet may differ from the basic setting. The temperature should be
adjusted, therefore, to local conditions. To set the temperature, follow the instructions from item 6.
6. Turn the thermostat knob until it stops at the notch (safety block) at 40°C. Open the water supply (right
knob). Use a (clinical) thermometer to check the temperature of the water flowing out. If it is 40°C, please
go to step 12.
7. If the temperature is not 40°C: Remove the retaining screw of the thermostat knob.
8. Remove the thermostat knob.
9. Turn the right-hand knob of the faucet and measure the temperature of the water flowing out. Turn the
spindle of the thermostat until the water reaches a temperature of 40°C.
10. Shut off the water by turning the right-hand knob and put the thermostat knob back on the spindle.
Position the knob in such a way that the safety block button coincides with the 40°C mark on the housing,
against the blocking ring, without turning the spindle.
11. Put the retaining screw back on and check the setting.
12. Put the enclosed protective covers in the screw recesses on both knobs.
Your faucet is now ready to use.
Temperature limit and safety:
Your thermostat faucet is equipped with a temperature limit. If it is set correctly, the safety button limits the
temperature range to a maximum of 40°C. This prevents scalding due to inattention. You can remove the block to
increase the temperature by pressing down the safety button.

Torneira misturadora para duche:
A sua torneira misturadora para duche está provida de uma posição ECO. Ao girar o botão direito para a frente, fará
automaticamente uso da posição ECO para economia de água. Ao premir a lingueta no botão, girando este ao mesmo
tempo para trás, se fará uso de toda a capacidade de água.
Torneira misturadora para banheira:
Com o botão direito da sua torneira misturadora, pode-se regular a saída de água entre saída para a banheira e saída
para o duche. Ao girar este botão para a frente, será activado o fluxo de saída para a banheira. ao premir-se a lingueta,
girando ao mesmo tempo para trás o botão, será activado a saída para o duche.
Características:
A sua torneira termostática está equipada com:
• Conexões em S "easy connect" com válvulas anti-retorno incorporadas. Este sistema evita também
a necessidade de porcas de capa que comprometam a beleza.
• Cartucho de termóstato de polímero (no polímero há menos incrustação de calcário, o que diminui
a probabilidade de avaria).
• Discos de cerâmica.
• Botões e gabinete de latão maciço.
• Posição ECO (posição de economia de água). Esta posição vem ajustada da fábrica (torneira
misturadora para duche).
• Regulação banheira/duche (torneira misturadora de banheira).
• Limitação da temperatura do gabinete da torneira: O gabinete da torneira não ultrapassa uma
temperatura que tenha ajustado previamente (para evitar o perigo de queimadura durante o duche
em caso de contacto).
• "Hot water stop": a alimentação de água quente termina automaticamente ao desaparecer a
pressão de água (fria), para evitar queimaduras.
Manutenção:
Limpeza com um pano suave húmido; não utilizar produtos abrasivos.

Feche a alimentação de água fria e quente.
A. Válvulas anti-retorno.
Desmonte a torneira misturadora. Retire os anéis de retenção das conexões em S. Em seguida,
retire as válvulas anti-retorno e o filtro de sujeira. Limpe todos os componentes e deixe correr bem
a água pelos tubos. Monte novamente todos os componentes na ordem inversa.
B. Cartucho térmico e/ou cartucho de regulação
Retire a cobertura do botão do termóstato (deve ser substituída). Desmonte o botão (veja os
pontos 7 e 8). Retire a porca de confinamento com ferramenta apropriada (art. n.o 5000.3.60.90,
não incluído). Retire o cartucho do gabinete e limpe-o. Monte todos os componentes na ordem
inversa. Depois da manutenção do cartucho térmico, este deve ser novamente regulado. (veja os
pontos 6 a 12 inclusive)
Drenagem em caso de geada:
Na a drenagem da instalação de abastecimento de água, a torneira termostática deve ser drenada separadamente.
Isso se deve a que nas conexões estão válvulas anti-retorno. Para isso, retire a torneira das conexões em S.
Serviço e garantia:
Tiger garante um funcionamento perfeito da sua torneira misturadora termostática de duche ou banheira. Caso
manifeste-se apesar disso, inesperadamente, um problema com a sua torneira, na medida em que este seja
consequência de falhas de produção e/ou de material, Tiger indemnizará gratuitamente os componentes defeituosos
durante o período de garantia de 5 anos. O seu comprovante de compra é também a sua prova de garantia e
deve ser apresentado ao fazer uso da garantia. No desenho na página 22-23 encontra-se um esquema de todos os
componentes com os números de artigo correspondentes.
