Tri band
Ability to handle any of the following types of
network; GSM 900, GSM 1800, combined GSM 900/
1800 and GSM 1900 MHz bands, for greater call
success and wider roaming.
Your phone automatically searches for the last
network used. If, for any reason, this network is
unavailable, your phone will attempt to register
with a different network.
Uni-code encoding
A character coding system designed to support the
worldwide interchange, processing, and display of
the written text of the diverse languages and
technical disciplines of the world. Uni-code encoding
provides data transmission to any other platforms
without corruption, especially when you use special
Alphabet that are used for languages other than
English. Please refer to the following table for the
major characters requiring Uni-code encoding:
To change the character encoding type in your
phone, use the Character support menu. Keep in
mind that the maximum number of characters
which can be in a message will be reduced to
approximately half in length if you enter text using
Uni-code characters.
