TO OPERATE VACUUM CLEANER
Note: To reduce the risk of electrical shock, this vacuum cleaner has a polarized
plug, one blade is wider than the other. This plug will fit in a polarized outlet only
one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not
fit, contact a qualified electrician to install the proper outlet. DO NOT CHANGE THE
PLUG IN ANY WAY. Only use outlets near the floor.

Ensure OFF/HI/LOW switch is OFF.
Plug the power cord into 120V outlet.
HIGH position turns vacuum cleaner
to HIGH power. Use HIGH power for
cleaning most carpet, rugs and
floors.
LOW position turns vacuum cleaner
to LOW power. Use LOW power for
cleaning delicate carpets or fabrics.
Press the HANDLE LENGTH ADJUST
button located on the back of the
vacuum cleaner.
Raise or lower the adjustable handle
to the desired operating position.
CAUTION
DO NOT carry the vacuum cleaner by
the adjustable handle. Use ONLY the
carrying handle located on the back of
the vacuum cleaner.
