    Turn Your Tablet Off 1. Press and hold the Power/Lock key to open the tablet options menu. 2. Tap Power off to turn the tablet off.  Your tablet will power off. Your screen remains blank while your tablet is off (unless the battery is charging). Note: If your device is not responding, press and hold both the Power/Lock and Volume down keys simultaneously for more than seven seconds to restart the device.

  • Page 17 Swipe or Slide To swipe or slide means to quickly drag your finger vertically or horizontally across the screen. This finger gesture is always in a vertical direction, such as when flicking the contacts or message list.
