This setting normally does not need to be changed. However if you are concerned about output picture quality, it may be improved by changing the setting.

    You cannot directly connect them to the unit. Connect through the amplifier/receiver, etc. All Panasonic televisions that have 480p input terminals are compatible. Consult the manufacturer if you have another brand of television. The different levels of picture quality input are listed below in order from highest to lowest.

It may be necessary to set the manufacturer code again after changing the batteries. The remote control doesn’t The remote control and main unit are using different codes.
