Shut Down the Computer

To prevent damage to hardware/software systems or loss of data, do not arbitrarily use the power button to
shut down the computer. Instead, shut down the computer as follows.
For the Windows 10 operating system:
1. Click the icon to open the Start Menu.
2. Click "Power"→"Shut down", as shown in the figure below.
3. Wait for the computer to shut down and then turn off the monitor and other peripheral devices.
Note: After you turn off the system, please wait at least 20 seconds before turning the computer back on to
avoid hardware faults.
