Shut down your notebook.

If connected, disconnect the AC Adapter and turn the system over.

While holding the battery lock, slide the battery latch towards the center of the notebook; this will unlock the
battery.

Lift the battery from the battery compartment.

Insert the new battery into the compartment.

Verify that the battery latch clicks into place
