SUPER CCD-HR SENSOR
Super CCD image sensor combines higher sensitivity with the advanced noise
suppression capabilities of the RP (Real Photo) Processor to fully exploit the
image quality and resolutions of FinePix high MP cameras.
Even photos taken in typically noisy situations such as twilight and under other low
light conditions retain the subtle tonality and beauty you saw with your own eyes.
Standard CCD Fujifi lm FinePix Super CCD
Fujifi lm FinePix digital cameras use a proprietary CCD system that utilizes larger,
octagonal-shaped, light-gathering diodes called Picture Elements, or pixels, that
are laid out in a saw-tooth pattern. Super CCDs can capture more light information
than ordinary CCDs; the extra information is used by the camera's image processor
to improve color accuracy and ISO speed.
