WLAN settings
Select Menu Tools Settings
Wireless LAN.
To have an indicator displayed when there is a WLAN
available in your current location, select
availability Yes.
To select the interval for your device to scan for
available WLANs and update the indicator, select
for networks. This setting is not available unless you
select Show WLAN availability Yes.

Select Menu Tools Settings
Access points Options New access
select an access point and Options
In the access point settings, select WLAN security
mode and the desired mode.
Session initiation protocol
(SIP) settings
Select Menu Tools Settings
SIP settings.
Session initiation protocols (SIP) are used for creating,
modifying, and terminating certain types of
communication sessions with one or more participants
(network service). Typical communication sessions are
video sharing and net calls. SIP profiles include settings

for these sessions. The SIP profile used by default for a
communication session is underlined.

To create a SIP profile, select
profile Use default profile
Connection profile.
To select the SIP profile you want to use by default for
communication sessions, select
Show WLAN profile.
Edit SIP profiles
Scan
Select Options Edit, and select from the following:
Profile name — Enter a name for the SIP profile.
Service profile — Select
Default access point
use for the internet connection.
Public user name — Enter your user name received
Connection
point, or from your service provider.
Edit. Use compression — Select if compression is used.
Registration — Select the registration mode.
Use security — Select if security negotiation is
used.
Proxy server — Enter the proxy server settings for
this SIP profile.
Registrar server — Enter the registration server
settings for this SIP profile.

Select Menu Tools
Internet tel..
To create a new net call profile, select
profile.
To edit an existing profile, select
