To enjoy using this Philips 3D hair clipper for a long time, we advise you to read the following information. In the enclosed booklet 'Modelling and Styling' and on the interactive instruction CD-ROM you can find instructions and many useful tips on how to create the haircut you want.
- Page 7 ENGLISH Do not charge the appliance for more than 24 hours. Make sure the appliance is switched off while charging. Insert the appliance plug into the appliance (fig. 1). Insert the adapter into the wall socket. The pilot light will go on to indicate that the appliance is charging. Optimising the lifetime of the battery After the appliance has been charged for the first time, do not recharge it between clipping sessions.
- Page 8 ENGLISH Hair length settings The hair length settings are indicated in millimetres on the arms of the comb attachment.The settings correspond to the remaining hair length after cutting (fig. 2). The small comb cuts hair to a length of 3 mm, 6 mm, 9 mm, 12 mm, 15 mm, 18 mm or 21 mm.
- Page 9 The appliance does not need any lubrication. Replacement A worn or damaged cutting unit should only be replaced with an original Philips cutting unit. Open the cutting unit by applying pressure in the centre and then remove it by pulling it upwards (fig. 9).
- Page 10 Do not throw the battery away with the normal household waste but dispose of it at an official collection point. You can also take the appliance to a Philips service centre, which will remove the battery for you and will dispose of it in an environmentally safe way.

Haare ohne Kamm-Aufsatz schneiden Sie können den Haarschneider ohne Kamm-Aufsatz verwenden, um die Konturen im Nacken und an den Ohren zu definieren. Dort wird der Akku umweltgerecht entsorgt. Ziehen Sie das Netzteil aus der Steckdose und lassen Sie das Gerät so lange laufen, bis der Motor anhält.
