Know how to disconnect the power to the range at the circuit breaker or fuse box in case of an emergency. • User servicing—Do not repair or replace any part of the appliance unless specifically recommended in the manuals. - Page 4 • Do Not Clean Door Gasket—The door gasket is essential for a good seal. Care should be taken not to rub, damage or move the gasket. •The health of some birds is extremely sensitive to the fumes given off during the self-cleaning cycle of any range. Turkey, roast or ham Oven Racks Your range is equipped with one or more Flat Oven Rack(s). Place the rack(s) into the positions shown in Fig. 2. See the Recommended Oven Rack Positions in the chart above. - Page 7 Element On & Hot Surface Indicator Lights Your range is equipped with two different types of radiant surface control indicator lights that will glow on your range— the Element On indicator light and the Hot Surface indicator light (See illustration at left).

Do not place plastic items such as salt and pepper shakers, spoon holders or plastic wrappings on top of the range when it is in use. These items could melt or ignite. Potholders, towels or wooden spoons could catch fire if placed too close to the surface elements. -

During the Self-Cleaning cycle, the outside of the range can become very hot to the touch. DO NOT leave small children unattended near the appliance. Note: Additional cooktop cleaning cream may be ordered by visiting the Frigidaire website at www.frigidaire.com Prior to using your cooktop for the first time, apply some of the cooktop cleaning cream supplied with your new range. Buff with a non-abrasive cloth or no-scratch cleaning pad. This will make cleaning easier when soiled from cooking. Range is not level - (1) Poor installation. Place oven rack in center of oven. Place a level on the oven rack. Adjust leveling legs at base of range until the oven rack is level. (2) Be sure floor is level, strong & stable enough to adequately support range. -
