6.1. FCC Compliance
The in-car GPS navigation complies with Part 15 of the FCC interference limits for Cl
ass B digital devices FOR HOME OR OFFICE USE. These limits are designed to provid
e more reasonable protection against harmful interference in a residential installati
on, and are more stringent than "outdoor" requirement.
Operation of this device is subject to the following conditions: (1) This device may n
ot cause harmful interference, and (2) this device must accept any interference re
ceived, including interference that may cause undesired operation.
This equipment generates uses and can radiate radio frequency energy and, if not
installed and used in accordance with the instructions, may cause harmful interfer
ence to radio communications. However, there is no guarantee that interference
will not occur in a particular installation. If this equipment does cause harmful interf
erence to radio or television reception, which can be determined by turning the e
quipment off and on, the user is encouraged to try to correct the interference by o
ne of the following measures:
n Reorient or relocate the receiving antenna.
n Increase the separation between the equipment and the receiver.
n Connect the equipment into an outlet on a circuit different from that to whic
h the receiver is connected.
Consult the dealer or and experienced technician for help.
The navigation does not contain any user-serviceable parts. Repairs should only be
