Note: Applying labels to the base cover
The new base cover FRU is shipped with a kit containing labels of several
kinds. When you replace the base cover, you need to apply the following
labels:
The following labels need to be peeled off from the old base cover and put
on the new base cover.
For countries other than China and India:
a WW safety certification mark
b GML label 16.077 x 22.501 mm
c BT label and WL label 32 × 10 mm for Israel/USA/Canada/Taiwan
d Brazil label 35 × 15 mm
e Argentina WL label 68 × 6 mm and Argentina adapter label 65 × 20 mm
f BT label and WL label 15 × 10 mm for Malaysia/Indonesia
g KCC label 50 × 43 mm for Korea
h Rating label for Indonesia 26 × 10 mm
i Vision warning label 70 × 10 mm for Taiwan
j South Africa label 20 × 10 mm
For China and India:
a China or India safety certification mark
b GML label 16.077 x 22.501 mm
c Office label 17 x 21 mm
d India BIS label 22 x 30 mm
For some models, you also need to apply one or two FCC labels. Check the
old base cover; if it has one or two FCC labels, find duplicates of them in the
label kit and apply them to the new base cover.
