Home screen shortcuts
You can use your BlackBerry Keyboard with Instant Action to quickly perform a number of tasks when you type certain
commands in the search field. You can use home screen shortcuts to make a call, send email or text messages, start a
BBM chat, update your Facebook status, post a tweet or a LinkedIn update, find a location in the Maps app, play music, or
add notes and tasks to BlackBerry Remember.
Make a call
1.
On the home screen, tap

Type call and the name or number of the person that you want to call. For example, you can type call Ian or call
5195550100.

Beneath Actions, tap the action that you want to perform.
