The AR3000A has 4 00 memorY channels { 4 banks of
such i nformation as recei v i n g fr e q u ency . rece i v i n g mode . RF attenuator sett i n g
a n d lockout status. Memory contents a r e reta ined bY a b u i lt- i n l ithium battery
even if the receiver is switched off and d i sconnected from the power source .

M emory storage
The 100 memory channel s are a l l ocated in four b a nks . which are n umbered a s 00
to 99 . Memory channel 00 is desi gnated as 'priority channel' (See Page 30l .
ExamPle 1:
Store a keyed - i n freouencY of l50 . 85MHz NFM d irectlY into m e mory channel
01 of bank 2.
Press [2nd FJ [BANK] i n s e quence . Press [UP/DOWN] until the <BANK2)
i n dicator i s d i s p l ayed on the LCD then press [ENTER].

4 Press [STEP] [2] [5] [ENTER] in seq uence to s e l ect a frequency i ncrement of
25kHz {if you select an increment at t h i s t i m e .

Press [2nd FJ [STEP AD.JJ so that t h e (kHz) i n d icator o n the LCD does not
flash (repeat if necessary) . This is a safe-guard t o en sure t h e receiver w i l l
ste p through it's range w i t h the correct fre q u ency i n crement. (Page 3 3) .

Press [ENTER] The (MCH} i n dicator will a ppear and f l a s h o n the LCD to
confirm that the receiver is readY to accept memory channel data.
S ho ul d you w i s h to a b a n d o n the process press [DIALJ and the receiver will
return to d i a l mode.
8 Press [0] [ 1 ] [ENTER] i n sequence. The procedure i s now complete . 1 50 . 825
M H z NFM has been stored i nto memory c h a n n el n umber 0 1 of mem ory bank
number 2.
