IP Paging Horn for SIP Endpoint Paging or Multicast Paging /
The 300-IP Paging Horn can be used for standard one-way SIP
endpoint paging, multicast paging or background music.
The 300-IP features a high efficiency 6 Watt class D amplifier
capable of driving the horn at up to 113 dB SPL at 1 meter.
The 300-IP-EWP shares all of the features of the 300-IP in
addition to Enhanced Weather Protection (EWP) for outdoor
installations where the unit is exposed to precipitation or
condensation. EWP products are designed to meet IP66
standards and may feature foam rubber gaskets, sealed
connections, gel-filled butt connectors, as well as potted circuit
boards with internally sealed, field-adjustable trim pots and
DIP switches for easy on-site programming. For more

- Page 6 5. Follow the prompts on your screen to complete software installation 6. To start the Viking IP Programming application, click on the Viking IP Programming icon on your desk top. The main screen will appear, allowing the user to program any 300-IP connected to that LAN.

Step 1. programmed. The window in the upper left corner of the menu will show you each 300-IP speaker that is connected to that LAN. Programming Features 1. Unit Name Up to a 30 character unit name can be assigned to the 300-IP being programmed. 2. SIP Server Enter the IP address or URL of your SIP server or service provider in this field. The SIP server IP address is limited to 74 characters. -
Page 11: Security Code
300-IP. It is recommended that the factory set security code be changed. The security code can be set back to default by holding the Reset button while the 300-IP powers up. See section D on page 9 for details. It can also be defaulted by connecting to the unit with the IP Programming Software and clicking on the “Clear Speaker Settings”... - Page 12 11. SIP Page Priority over Multicast Page Incoming 300-IP SIP call audio streams can be programmed to have priority over any of the 10 standard Multicast paging groups. Simply use the “Sip Page Priority Level” drop down menu to select which Multicast group you want SIP calls to have priority over.
- Page 13 The multicast paging groups can also be used for up to ten different paging zones for receiving audio streams. A paging zone can consist of one or many 300-IP multicast paging horn. There is no limit to how many speakers can be in a given paging zone.
- Page 14 When Night Ring Timed Operation is enabled, if a SIP call is received during the programmed Start and Stop times, the 300-IP will output loud ring. This is selectable for each day of the week. When outside of the Night Ring timing window, the Inbound Call Mode setting will determine how SIP calls are handled.

The one or two digit code stored in the Ext Relay Command is the touch tone command that the person calling the 300-IP must enter on their phone in order to momentarily activate the relay to control a door strike, magnetic lock, gate controller, or other device. - Page 16 23. Ring Volume When the Inbound Call mode is set to Ring or Night Ring timed operation is in effect, the 300-IP will output a loud ring when it is called. The level can be adjusted from 0 - 19. - Page 17 (845464), the PC software will not require a username, password or security code when connecting to the 300-IP. If the 300-IP has been programmed with a username and password, a pop up window will ask for the username followed by the password. If the unit’s security code has been changed from default (845464), it will then prompt for the correct security code.
- Page 18 31. IP Firmware Update IP is currently not available. The ability to update IP firmware will be made available in a later release of Viking IP Programming software. If an IP firmware update is needed, Viking Technical Support will assist in updating the IP firmware.

Night Ring Timed Operation if enabled (see Programming section 14), the current time of day and day of week. If Night Ring Timed Operation is disabled and the Inbound Call Mode is set to Auto Answer, the 300-IP will automatically answer inbound calls, provides a Pre Page Alert Tone if enabled and allows paging through the unit. -

C. Operation Commands (Relay Mode must be set to “Door Strike”) The following commands can be entered after the 300-IP answers an inbound SIP call, when the Inbound Call Mode is set to auto answer. After the unit auto answers the call, one beep will be heard if Pre Page Alert Tone is enabled. If the Access Code has been disabled, you can now enter the Operation Commands listed below. - Page 21 The relay controller is mounted securely inside the building and connected to the same LAN as the 300-IP. The 300-IP will send an encrypted message to the RC-4A to activate its relays which control the door strikes / gates.
