Pass the media through the printer.

Check that the printer's loading lever is in the up position.

Switch on the printer's sub power.

Check that the following menu items on the printer have been set to "DISABLE."

Press [MENU] to return to the setup screen.

Open the front cover.

Remove the screws (in two locations), and then remove the front UV shield.
