  • Page 7 • Use only the Makita wrench to install or remove the blade. To remove the blade, hold the outer flange with the wrench so that it cannot revolve, then use the socket wrench to loosen the hex bolt clockwise. Then remove the hex bolt, outer flange and blade.

    Rip fence (Guide rule) 005513 The handy rip fence allows you to do extra-accurate straight cuts. Simply slide the rip fence up snugly against the side of the workpiece and secure it in posi- tion with the screw on the front of the base. It also makes repeated cuts of uni- form width possible.
