    Parts and their functions 1 Release levers These levers are used to release the viewfinder. 2 Pan base support This is the surface on which the viewfinder is mounted. 3 Pan lock lever This is used to secure the horizontal rotation of the pan base support.

    Mounting Mounting the buildup adapter Note When the buildup unit has been mounted on a tripod, secure the pan lock lever and tilt lock lever of the tripod. If these levers are not secured, the center of gravity will shift, causing the tripod to topple over and possibly resulting in injury.
  • Page 6 Mounting Turn the buildup adapter in the direction of the arrow to secure it to the lock base. Check that it has clicked into position and is secured firmly. Note To ensure safety, check that the buildup adapter is secured firmly by attempting to move it backward or forward.
