*1. Connect the power cord to a circuit breaker of 15 A or less.
Note the following precautions to connect cables.
If connecting any peripheral device and its interface cable made by other companies (a third party), contact
your sales representative to check if they can be used with the server beforehand.
USB devices supported by the server are Flash FDD, keyboard (including a mouse), and Server Switch
Unit (SSU) designated by NEC. Connecting USB devices other than the above will cause malfunctions and
failures.
Power off the server before connecting peripheral devices, with the exception of peripherals with USB
interface. Connecting a powered peripheral device to the powered server will cause malfunctions and
failures.
If you purchase the Internal USB cable and expand USB ports, the port supports a USB device that is the
backup device (internal / external RDX) designated by NEC.
If you purchase the Internal USB cable and both USB ports are installed on both CPU/IO modules, backup
devices connected to these ports are not configured for duplication by using hardware.
In the case of standard configuration, you need to complete setup of the operating system before installing
external file backup device.
The serial port connectors are reserved for maintenance.
