    GENERAL SAFETY PRECAUTIONS Danger exists when loads are lifted, particularly when a winch is not being used properly or is poorly maintained. Because an accident or serious injury could result, apply special precautions to the winch during operation, assembly, maintenance and inspection. WARNING NEVER use this winch for lifting or moving persons.
  • Page 3 ALWAYS make sure the hook safety latch works properly. NEVER work with winch when wire rope is jammed, kinked or slipping. MOUNTING THE WINCH Be careful when mounting the winch to the anchoring structure and ensure appropriate conditions for safety mounting according to the character of the environment (working platform, auxiliary lifting device, etc.), to avoid endanger or injury of the people.

    WINCH OPERATION This winch is a mechanical device designed for lifting, lowering and pulling loads. It is operated by manual turning the hand crank. Work with heavy loads may involve unexpected dangers; therefore it is necessary to follow all safety instructions. Wire rope must be threaded through the pulleys, cannot be guided outside the pulleys.

    WIRE ROPE REPLACEMENT Reel out the old rope from the drum, loosen the rope clamp and remove the old rope. Run end of a new rope through the hole in the drum face and attach rope clamp to the new rope.
