Auto Power Off; Zero Reset - Napa Carlyle DATA12 Manual

POWER ON AND AUTO ZERO RESET
• Attach the adaptor on the tool.
• Gently press to power on.
• Auto zero-reset will be processed first.
• The adaptor will be started in torque or angle mode.
Which mode will be started depends on in which
mode the adaptor is powered-off last time.
• In torque mode, a target torque screen will be shown.
• In angle mode, after several seconds of angle zero-
reset, a angle screen will be shown (See zero reset
section on this manual.)
• If it takes too long in angle reset, press to reset
again.
ATTENTION:
1. If appears, refer to "ERROR MESSAGE".
2. IMPORTANT!
• During angle reset, keep the adaptor still
and do not shake, vibrate or even
touching the adaptor.

AUTO POWER OFF

• The meter will power down after 2 minutes,
entering a power savings mode.

ZERO RESET

• Press for zero reset.
• Press to zero reset the digital angle torque
adaptor before use. This will ensure better accuracy.
• In angle mode, attach the meter to the hand ratchet
that you plan to torque with. Turn on and let it zero out
before use.
• In torque mode, if an external force is applied to the
torque adaptor during zero-reset period, an initial
torque offset error will occur.
DATA12, DATA14, DATA38
• If the adaptor is moving again and again, the
zero reset will not stop.
