    To install an RMEM04 memory module in your ReadyNAS system: Power off your ReadyNAS server. See the ReadyNAS OS 6 Rack-Mount Hardware Manual for power-off instructions for your server. Visit http://support.netgear.com/product/ReadyNAS-OS6 to download a PDF of the manual. Unplug the power cord.

J3 J4 J5 J6 Locate the memory expansion slots on the system motherboard. Align the RMEM04 memory expansion module keys with the keys of a free memory expansion slot and press the module down until the tabs snap into place.
  • Page 6 Access the Inside of the Storage System on a ReadyNAS 3312, 4312, or 4360 To access the inside of a ReadyNAS 3312, 4312, or 4360 storage system: If your system is mounted in a rack, grasp the two handles on either side and pull the system straight out until it locks.
  • Page 7 • On a ReadyNAS 3312 or 4312 system, press the two release buttons on the top of the cover. • On a ReadyNAS 4360 system, press the two release buttons on the sides of the chassis.
  • Page 8 Slide the top cover back. Lift the top cover from the chassis. You can now access the inside of the system.
