6. Handling mobile phones near
electronic medical equipment
■ These precautions are based on
the guidelines produced at the
Electromagnetic Compatibility Conference
Japan, regarding the protection of
electronic medical equipment from radio
waves emitted by mobile phone units.
Obey the following rules inside
medical facilities.
Do
Do not bring the terminal into operating
rooms, intensive care units (ICUs) or
coronary care units (CCUs).
