Purging check programme:
The heating pump is actuated cyclically.
The heating circuit and the domestic hot water cir-
cuit are purged via the automatic air vent on the
heating pump (the automatic air vent's cap must be
loosened).
The purge programme always begins with the hot
water circuit (7 minutes and 30 seconds) and ends
with the heating circuit (2 minutes and 30 seconds).
1 x
Cancel: End purge programme
Note
The purge programme runs for 10 minutes and then
ends.
Purging the hot water circuit:
3-port valve in the hot water position.
Heating pump cycle:
45 seconds on, 5 seconds off.
Purging the heating circuit:
3-port valve in the heating position; heating pump
controlled as specified above.

Start check programme
P.01 and adjust the
CO₂ content with the
adjusting screw in the
Venturi.
If the correct CO₂ value
cannot be set: Check
that the gas restrictor
is correct (yellow: G20
natural gas, grey: liquid
gas) and undamaged.
Repeat the gas family
check.
Damaged or incorrect
gas restrictor (yellow:
G20 natural gas, grey: li-
quid gas), incorrect gas
group, internal pressure
measuring point in Ven-
turi blocked (do not use
lubricants on O-ring in
the Venturi.), recircula-
tion, defective seal.
Eliminate faults in the
product.
Set the correct CO₂
value using check pro-
gramme P.01 (adjusting
screw in the Venturi).
Repeat the gas family
check.
To terminate the check programmes, you can press Cancel
at any time; this does not apply for initial start-up, however.
The purging cycle must be completely carried out once so

Checking and treating the heating
water/filling and supplementary water
Caution.
Risk of material damage due to poor-qual-
ity heating water
Ensure that the heating water is of suffi-
cient quality.
Before filling or topping up the installation, check the
quality of the heating water.
Remove a little water from the heating circuit.
Check the appearance of the heating water.
If you ascertain that it contains sedimentary materials,
you must desludge the installation.
Use a magnetic rod to check whether it contains mag-
netite (iron oxide).
If you ascertain that it contains magnetite, clean the in-
stallation and apply suitable corrosion-protection meas-
ures, or fit a magnetic filter.
Check the pH value of the removed water at 25 °C.
If the value is below 8.2 or above 10.0, clean the installa-
tion and treat the heating water.
Ensure that oxygen cannot get into the heating water.
