Part 3 - Reassembling the Cutting Head
1. Insert the inner reel into the spool cover (Fig. 23).
2. Insert the bump knob into the inner reel (Fig. 23).
3. Install the spring on the outer spool (Fig. 24).
4. Turn the inner reel to align the line ends with the eyelets on the
spool cover (Fig. 23). Push the line ends out of the holding slots
and into the eyelets (Fig. 23). Hold the line ends in place to keep
them from unwinding.
5. Hold the line ends, spool cover, inner reel, and bump knob in
place. Turn the spool cover, inner reel, and bump knob over.
6. Align the tabs on the outer spool with the slots on the spool
cover (Fig. 24).
7. Press the spool cover, inner reel, and bump knob onto the outer
spool until the tabs lock securely into the slots.
MAINTAINING THE BATTERY CHARGER
Keep the battery charger clean and clear of debris. Do not allow
foreign material into the charging dock or onto the terminals (Fig.
25). Inspect the battery charger for foreign material before each use.
Make sure the charger has not been shorted by debris. Inspect
the terminals for soot and signs of melting. Do not attempt to
use a shorted charger.
