Sensor (F2)
Fan fold plate (R) guides the paper between fan fold rollers (F).
When the leading edge passes between the fan fold LED (F1) and the fan
fold sensor (F2), a pulse count begins.
After the leading edge is fed the correct distance, fan fold plate motor (R)
reverses and the fan fold plate (R) lifts. It stops when the HP sensor
detects the edge of the plate.

Fan fold LED (F1) and sensor (F2): The LED is at the top and light passes to
the sensor below, until paper interrupts the light path.
