Restoring Factory Default Settings
• Linux Kernel access during boot sequence
• Run time debug modes - allows Cisco support team to view device settings and apply protocol and layer 1 debug
commands and settings. The run time debug mode is accessible over telnet and SSH terminals in addition to console.
Restoring Factory Default Settings
To restore the switch to factory default settings, use the Reset button to reboot or reset the switch and do the
following:
• To reboot the switch, press and hold the Reset button for less than ten seconds.
