Getting Started

Read this section to learn how to start using the camcorder. This section covers only
basic functions such as inserting the battery and memory cards, turning it on, and
making preliminary settings. See later chapters for advanced functions.

Inserting the Battery/SD/SDHC Card

1. Open the battery compartment at the bottom of the camcorder.
2. Insert the battery/SD/SDHC card as shown.
3. Close the battery compartment.
