STOP: Pressing this key will halt all play and record actions. SEARCH: This key will cycle through a choice of destinations within the current file. Every press on the SEARCH key will search the file in increments of 25% of the file size. RECORD: Press and hold on this key then press on the PAUSE/Play key will start a recording session.

FREE SPACE To determine the amount of FREE SPACE available for you to store additional DV files on your DV Bank, press the MENU key until the word FREE appears in the top left corner of the LCD, then press the Soft Key below the word ENTER.

SETUP LOOP PLAY DV Bank is a versatile tool. Not only can it be used to transfer, store and edit DV files, it can also be used as a robust, tamper-resistant DV player enabling the user to choose between files and to show continuously running DV without the irritating pause for rewind or replay or the annoying hesitation typically found on DVD players, VTRs and laser decks.

TOTAL SPACE To verify the total capacity of your DV Bank, press the MENU button until TOTAL SPACE appears in the upper left corner of the LCD. Then press the Soft Key under the word ENTER and the total space available, as if there were no DV files stored on your DV Bank, will appear in the upper right corner of the LCD.
Operation Record “ “ + “ Pressing the RECORD+PLAY/PAUSE buttons to start a new video file recording, it will record from the very first frame. Note: if recording is stopped by pressing the STOP button and is immediately followed by pressing the RECORD+PLAY/PAUSE button, then recording will continue from where it was stopped.

Play Forward “ “ Pressing the PLAY FORWARD button when a file is not playing (STOP or PAUSE was previously selected) starts playing the selected file in the forward direction at 2X speed. If the file was playing in reverse direction, then pressing PLAY FORWARD switches playback to forward direction.

Play / Pause “ “ Pressing the PLAY/PAUSE button to play back the selected file. Pressing again to pause the play function and the current frame will remain visible on your monitor, being continuously updated by the microprocessor. Under Pause mode, pressing the Soft Key buttons repeatedly will advance the frame FORWARD or REVERSE in the desired direction.

Slow Motion On the DV Bank you can also easily reduce the speed of the replay of your DV file by pressing the Soft Key under the word SLOWER (on the LCD) during PLAY FORWARD or PLAY REVERSE. Each time you press the Soft Key the speed of replay is halved, up to a maximum of 1/32 the original speed of your Deleting a File With this choice, the Soft Keys take on the options of DELETE and CANCEL.
