    Setting up the system You can mount your new CD micro system on a plane and stable surface. The stand of the unit should be located close to a properly connected power socket. In order to ensure a sufficient ventilation, the device must not be operated on soft surfaces (carpets or the like).
  • Page 8 Operation of the CD micro system General operation Setting the time You can set the time in standby mode. 1. To do this, press CLOCK/MEMORY for 3 seconds. “ that the time is displayed in 24-hour mode. 2. If you want the time to be displayed in 12-hour mode, press either the confirm, press CLOCK/MEMORY.
  • Page 9 CD / MP3 operation This device plays generally audio CDs as well as CD-R(W) media burnt with a PC. For MPEG format bit rates from 8 to 320 kbps are supported. Due to the various types of blank CDs, PC types, operating systems, burning software and methods, we cannot guarantee that every burnt CD will be played immaculately.
  • Page 10 To play MP3 CDs, you can search for tracks through the first letter of the name of the track. To do this, press STEREO / MONO / ESP. Then, enter the first letter of the title you are searching for using SKIP-DN ( ) / SKIP-UP ( ). The name of the track immediately appears in the display.

    Playback of USB / SD/MMC Flash Memory The system is equipped with a card slot for SD and MMC flash memory cards as well as a USB port. You can use these interfaces to play MP3 files. If you are using both interfaces, the card reader will be selected first by the system.
  • Page 12 Save station We have equipped the system with 40 memory spaces (30 x USW, 10 x MW) into which you can save your favourite stations. To do this: Ø Enter the first station that you would like to save. Ø Press CLOCK / MEMORY to start saving.
  • Page 13 Ø The entered times will remain saved and if you press the TIMER button again at a later date, the timer programming will be reactivated. So: Briefly press TIMER button = Turn timer on / off. Press TIMER for a long time = Change timer settings. Sleep Timer You can have the system turn off automatically at a predetermined time.
