    Power supply You can operate this device with the mains voltage of AC230V~ / 50 Hz, or with battery power. Mains operation Connect the mains cord provided to a properly wired wall outlet with a voltage of AC230V~ / 50 Hz and to the mains socket on the rear panel of the unit. Now the device is operational. Battery operation Open the battery compartment on the bottom side of the unit.
  • Page 7 Supported Formats Normally, WMA files are played with the help of Windows Media Player 8 or Windows Media Player for Windows XP. Such files have the extension *.wma. This device can play both MP3 and WMA files. WMA files that are coded with DRM copy protection (Digital Rights Management) cannot be played.
  • Page 8 Ø Display with inserted CD: Ø Press the PLAY/PAUSE button to start playback. The display now shows on the left-hand side the track that is being played and on the right-hand side the elapsed track playing time. Press this button again to pause the playback. The pause symbol ; appears.
  • Page 9 Select playback options for MP3 discs — If you press the P-MODE button once during playback, “REPEAT” will flash on the display, and the track currently being played will be repeated. — If you press this button twice, the display shows “REPEAT ALL” and all tracks of the disc will be repeated.

    USB / SD-MMC Flash Memory Playback The device is equipped with a card slot for flash memory cards of the formats SD and MMC a USB 1.1 connection. You can use this interfaces for playing MP3 and WMA files. Ø Connect the USB storage medium with the USB connection or insert a SD or MMC card with the label side pointing to the rear into the card slot until it clicks into place.

    Storing radio stations The device has 12 programme memory locations (6 x VHF, 6 x MW) where you can store your favourite radio stations. This is done as follows: Tune the first radio channel you want to store. Ø Press the MEMORY button to start the storing process. Ø...
