Security - WEP
WEP (Wired Equivalent Privacy) is based on the IEEE 802.11 standard and uses the
RC4 encryption algorithm. Enabling WEP allows you to increase security by encrypting
data being transferred over your wireless network.
To enable WEP, click the radio button next to Wired Equivalent Privacy (WEP) and
click the Configure button.

Note: Your network will slow down and wireless signal may degrade when enabling
WEP encryption due to the added overhead.

Select the WEP key format (Hexadecimal or ASCII)
Hexadecimal - only A-F and 0-9 are valid characters.
ASCII - All numbers and letters are valid characters.
Enter a WEP key and then select the encryption level. You can make
up to 4 different keys.
Keys:
Select the level of WEP encryption - 64, 128, or 152-bit.
