Install the Router

Connect Power Cables

Before you begin this task, ensure that you have read and understood the safety warnings in the
Electricity
The Cisco ASR-920-12SZ Routers support either AC or DC power supplies. Based on your device and the
supported power supply, attach the AC and the DC power cables.

Attach AC Power Cables

Note
This task is applicable only on the Cisco ASR-920-12SZ-A Router.
Step 1
Lift the power retainer.
Step 2 Plug in the power cord into the power supply unit.
Step 3
Push the power retainer cord towards the power supply cord to lock it in place as shown in the following figure.
