q Push up the closing cap (1st) and place the drain
hose back in its holder (2nd).
q Carefully remove the pump cap.
A little residual water will flow out.
q Remove any loose debris / fluff from inside the
pump and clean the pump. The pump impeller
must be able to rotate.
Clean any residual lye or fluff from the thread of the
pump cap and pump housing.
q Attach and tighten the pump cap.
q Insert and close service flap.
To avoid unused detergent from flowing into the drain
during the next wash cycle:
q 1Pour 1 litre / 1 ¾ pt of water into chamber II.
q Select the programme "Drain".
This is necessary if very little or no water flows into the
washing machine. The "Rinse"indicator light flashes
First release the water pressure in the supply hoses:
q Turn off the water taps.
q Turn the programme selector to any programme
(except "Spin" and "Drain").
q Press the "Start" button, and allow the programme
to run for approx. 40 seconds.
q Turn the programme selector to "Off".
