INSTALLING LOGS
WARNING: Failure to posi-
tion the parts in accordance
with these diagrams or failure
to use only parts specifically
approved with this heater may
result in property damage or
personal injury.
CAUTION: After installa-
tion and periodically thereafter,
check to ensure that no flame
comes in contact with any log.
With the heater set to High, check
to see if flames contact any log. If
so, reposition logs according to
the log installation instructions
in this manual. Flames contact-
ing logs will create soot.
It is very important to install these logs exactly
as instructed. Do not modify logs. Only use
logs supplied with heater.
1. Place rear log onto base. Holes in bottom
of log must seat over pins on base as
shown in Figure 17.
2. Place center log onto base. Holes in bot-
tom of log must seat over pins on base
as shown in Figure 17.
3. Place front log onto grate as shown in
Figure 18. Front log has cut outs for the
fingers of the grate to fit into.

4. Place left crossover log as shown in
Figure 19. Match square peg on top of
center log with square hole on bottom of
left crossover log. Match round peg on top
of front log with round hole on bottom of
left crossover log.
5. Place center crossover log as shown in
Figure 19. Match square peg on top of
rear log with square hole on bottom of
center crossover log. Match round peg
on top of center log with round hole on
bottom of center crossover log
6. Place left front crossover log as shown in
Figure 19. Log should rest on the grate and
fit into recess area on the center log.
