    UTILIZZO DEL TELECOMANDO Utilizzare il telecomando entro un raggio di 8 metri dall’apparecchio, puntandolo verso il ricevitore. Un segnale acustico conferma la corretta ricezione del segnale. Non allontanare il telecomando dall’area da cui il segnale emesso può raggiungere il ricevitore dell’unità.     USING THE REMOTE CONTROL Use the remote control within a distance of 8 meters from the appliance, pointing it at the receiver. A beep confi rms the correct reception of the signal. Do not move the remote control away from the area from which the emitted sig- nal may reach the receiver of the unit.

    REPLACING THE BATTERIES The remote control is powered by two type AAA (1.5V) batteries, housed in the rear compartment closed with a cover. Replace the batteries as follows: 1.     OPERATING MODES (AUTO) Press the AUTO button to select the auto- matic mode regardless of whether the unit is on or off; the symbol “ ” appears on the display. In this mode, the temperature and speed of the fan are set automatically based on the room temperature detected.
  • Page 26 (HEATING) Press the ON-OFF button on the remote con- trol. Press the MODE button to select the HEAT- ING mode; the symbol “ ” will come up on the display screen. In this mode, the air conditioning unit heats the room by means of the “heat pump” op- eration.

    USO DEL MANDO A DISTANCIA Utilizar el mando a distancia dentro de un radio de 8 metros del aparato, apuntán- dolo hacia el receptor. Een geluidssignaal bevestigt de correcte ontvangst van het signaal. Verplaats de afstandsbediening niet te ver van de ontvanger om het signaal niet te verliezen.
