IMPORTANT PLEASE READ!
COMMON TROUBLESHOOTING ISSUES
ISSUE #1 CONNECTION USING THE
TELESCOPIC ANTENNA)
1)
Extend the Telescopic antenna.
2)
Power the unit on (Power Switch is located on the Left Hand side of the unit).
3)
Press the "MENU" button on the remote control. You should see the "TV--MENU " setup screen. (If
you are in the "AV" mode, press the TV/AV button to switch into the "TV" mode.
4)
Once you have the TV--MENU setup screen, the "1-Antenna " should be highlighted. You will need
to set the antenna signal to "AIR". Press the "VOL- UP or VOL- DOWN" button to change the signal
to "AIR".
5)
Once you have selected AIR as your signal, you will need to do a channel scan.
6)
Press the "CHANNEL- DOWN" button to enter the "2-AUTO" menu.
7)
Once you are in the AUTO menu, Press the "VOL- UP or VOL- DOWN" button to start the channel
scan.
8) Once the channel search has been completed, simply change the channels by "Channel-
UP or Channel- Down" button on the remote control.
ISSUE #2 CONNECTION USING THE COAXIAL CABLE
BOX
1)
Connect the "Antenna Jack " adaptor into the "RF IN" line located on the right hand side of the unit.
2)
Connect your ANTENNA COAXIAL cable into the "Antenna Jack" adaptor.
3)
Power the unit on (Power Switch is located on the Left Hand side of the unit).
4)
Press the "MENU" button on the remote control. You should see the "TV--MENU " setup screen. (If
you are in the "AV" mode, press the TV/AV button to switch into the "TV" mode.
5)
Once you have the TV--MENU setup screen, the "1-Antenna " should be highlighted. You will need
to set the antenna signal to "CAB". Press the "VOL- UP or VOL- DOWN" button to change the
signal to "CAB".
6)
Once you have selected CAB as your signal, you will need to do a channel scan.
7)
Press the "CHANNEL- DOWN" button to enter the "2-AUTO" menu.
8)
Once you are in the AUTO menu, Press the "VOL- UP or VOL- DOWN" button to start the channel
scan.
Once the channel search has been completed, simply change the channels by "Channel-
9)
UP or Channel- Down" button on the remote control.
NOTE:
The difference between
Air-
when using a rabbit ears or a roof top antenna to receive signal.
CAB-
when using an antenna source that is connected directly to your local cable company
ISSUE #3 CONNECTION USING THE COAXIAL CABLE
1)
Connect the "Antenna Jack " adaptor into the "RF IN" line located on the right hand side of the unit.
2)
Connect your ANTENNA COAXIAL cable into the "Antenna Jack" adaptor.
3)
Power the unit on (Power Switch is located on the Left Hand side of the unit).
4)
Set the TV to channel " 3 " and then turn your cable box on.
5)
The image should appear on the screen, change the channels using your receiver box remote
control.
ISSUE #4 CONNECTION USING THE
1)
Connect the Yellow prong into your DVD, VCR, or Game console "VIDEO out".
2)
Connect the Red and White prong into your DVD, VCR, or Game console "AUDIO" out.
3)
Connect the other end of the AV cable, (Yellow and black prong) into the "Video IN and Audio IN"
located on the right hand side of the unit. Yellow prong connects into the

Press the AV/TV button on the TFTV505 remote control to switch into in the "AV" mode.
5)
The image from your DVD, VCR, or Game console should appear on the TV screen.
