This warranty does not cover repairs or replacement parts necessary because of abuse or negligence including failure to install, adjust and oeprate this pump according to the instructions in the owner’s manual. -

Wire pump through a Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter and/or property damage. (GFCI - required by the National Electrical Code for above ground pools). A GFCI is available from the Sears Electrical Department. -

INSTALLATION Pump mount must: Teflon Taping Instructions: Be solid - level - rigid - vibration free. (To reduce vibration Use only new or clean PVC pipe fittings. and pipe stress, bolt pump to mount.) Wrap male pipe threads with one to two layers of teflon Allow pump inlet height to be as close to water level as tape, winding tape clockwise as you face start of thread. -

Pump down water level WARNING below all inlets to the pool. To avoid dangerous or fatal electrical shock hazard, turn OFF power to motor before draining pump. 2. Remove trap cover and use low pressure air to blow ac- cumulated water from the Hazardous voltage.

PUMP SERVICE Pump should only be serviced by qualified person- Pump Reassembly/Installing New Seal: nel. 1. Carefully examine the seal “L” cup and tank body Be sure to prime pump (Page 6) before starting up O-Ring (Key No. 5, Page 11). Replace if material shows after service. -
