Preface

The PRIMERGY BX620 S4 2-way Server Blade is an Intel-based server blade
with outstanding network qualities. Combined with Gbit Ethernet LAN SB9F
switch blades, it offers LAN connections via 6 onboard Ethernet channels in the
BX600 S3 basic unit. The server blade can also be operated in the BX600 S2
basic unit, in which case, however, only 2 of the 6 onboard Ethernet channels
of the server blade can be used.
The PRIMERGY BX620 S4 server blade offers several new forward-looking
technologies such as dual-core processors, FBD memory modules with
extended mirroring, modular hard disk controller configuration and 2.5-inch SAS
or SATA hard disks.
